A Discreet Alternative

Achieving a flawless smile no longer means enduring years of dental braces. Invisalign, at the forefront of modern orthodontic technology, offers a revolutionary solution for straightening your teeth with unrivalled discretion and comfort. This innovative treatment has transformed over 10 million smiles worldwide, and now it's your turn to discover this revolution.

Invisalign is more than just a treatment; it's a pathway to restored confidence. Using advanced 3D computer imaging technology, Invisalign manufactures a series of custom-made clear aligners, precisely tailored to the unique contours of your teeth. These aligners are almost invisible and easy to removeThey align your teeth in their perfect position, ensuring comfort without compromising efficiency. With Invisalign, you can eat, drink, brush and floss without any adjustments. It's orthodontics designed to fit in with your everyday life, allowing you to live, work and play sports without any discomfort.

Why choose Invisalign?

In the quest for the perfect smile, the path you choose makes all the difference. Invisalign stands out as a top choice for many peopleInvisalign offers a combination of comfort, aesthetics and effectiveness that traditional braces can't match. That's why Invisalign is the obvious choice for those looking to straighten their teeth discreetly and comfortably.

Virtually invisible

One of the most compelling benefits of Invisalign is its near-invisibility. Clear aligners are designed to be unnoticeable, allowing you to smile, talk and socialise without the discomfort often associated with traditional metal braces. With Invisalign, you're not only working towards a beautiful smile in the future, but you're also enjoying that confidence boost now, without the aesthetic impact of wires and braces.

Removable

Life doesn't stop for orthodontic treatment, and with Invisalign, it doesn't have to. Invisalign aligners are fully removable, offering an unparalleled level of convenience. You want to enjoy a sticky or hard snack? No problem. Do you have a big event or a session photo? You can smile freely! This flexibility makes Invisalign an integrated part of your lifestyle, not an obstacle to be circumvented.

Minimising the risk of caries

When it comes to oral hygiene, there's no need for specialised tools or techniques; just remove the aligners and brush and floss as you normally would. Compared with traditional braces, which can make cleaning teeth more difficult, Invisalign offers a more practical solution for preventing cavities and maintaining optimum dental health. Their removability makes brushing and flossing easier, so you can maintain better oral hygiene.

Reduced Discomfort

The journey to a straighter smile shouldn't be painful. Invisalign aligners are made from a smooth, flexible plastic that is custom-fitted to your teeth, dramatically reducing the irritation and discomfort often associated with the brackets and wires of traditional braces. What's more, the gentle, gradual force of Invisalign means less pressure on your teeth at every stage of treatment, making the whole process more comfortable.

Confidence at every stage

Invisalign does more than improve your smile; it gradually boosts your confidence. With discreet aligners, smiling while your teeth are being realigned can be done without embarrassment. This positive impact on your confidence is invaluable, making Invisalign a valuable investment in your overall well-being.

Tailor-made treatment for tailor-made results

Every smile is unique, and Invisalign treats it as such. Using advanced 3D imaging technology, every step of your Invisalign treatment is meticulously planned to ensure that your teeth move in the most effective and efficient way possible. This personalised approach ensures that your path to a straighter smile is as quick and smooth as possible.

Fewer visits to the dentist

Traditional braces require regular adjustments, often with monthly appointments. Invisalign, on the other hand, is designed to be efficient. When you start your Invisalign journey, you'll receive several sets of aligners at a time, with each set to be worn for a specific period of time before moving on to the next. This means your check-ups are less about adjustments and more about monitoring progress, dramatically reducing the frequency of your visits. These less frequent and simplified appointments not only save you time, but also reduce the disruption to your daily life, allowing you to focus on what really matters, while working confidently towards your perfect smile.

Choosing Invisalign means opting for a modern, sophisticated approach to orthodontics. It's about making no compromises: enjoying the benefits of a straighter smile without the drawbacks of traditional braces. With Invisalign, you choose a path that leads not only to a beautiful smile, but to a brighter, more confident you.

The Invisalign Treatment Process At Our Marrakech Dental Clinic

Here's a step-by-step guide to the Invisalign treatment process. This will help you understand exactly what to expect, from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

1

Initial consultation

Your Invisalign journey begins with an initial consultation at the Montblanc Dental Center in Marrakech. During this visit, we discuss your dental goals and assess your smile. This is a crucial stage where we assess your suitability for Invisalign treatment, taking into account various factors such as the complexity of your case and your oral health. To complete the diagnosis, photographs and x-rays will be taken, giving us a complete picture of your dental situation. Our aim is to ensure that Invisalign is the right choice for you, paving the way for a successful transformation.

2

Personalised Treatment Plan

Once you've been deemed a good candidate for Invisalign, the next step is to create your personalised treatment plan. To do this, we take precise impressions of your teeth, either using a digital scan or a conventional impression. This data allows us to visualise your current dental situation in 3D and to plan the precise transformation of your smile, step by step, right through to the final result. This personalised plan gives you a clear picture of your future smile and also indicates the estimated duration of your treatment.

3

Receiving your aligners

Based on the personalised treatment plan, your unique set of Invisalign aligners are manufactured using advanced manufacturing processes. These aligners are made from a patented thermoplastic material designed for comfort and fit. Once your aligners are ready, you'll return to us to receive them. We'll make sure they fit perfectly and explain how to wear and care for them, setting you up for success from day one.

4

Treatment progress

The effectiveness of Invisalign is based on wearing the aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, switching to a new set every 1 to 2 weeks as indicated. Throughout your treatment, you will have follow-up appointments at Montblanc Dental Center, although less frequently than with traditional braces. These visits allow us to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments. It's an exciting time as you watch your smile gradually align before your very eyes.

5

Achieve Your Perfect Smile

The final stage of your Invisalign journey is the most rewarding - revealing your new, perfectly aligned smile. Once you have completed your series of aligners, we will evaluate your results. In some cases, minor touch-ups may be necessary to achieve the optimal result. Finally, to maintain your beautiful new smile, we will discuss the use of retainers, ensuring that your teeth remain in their new positions.

At Montblanc Dental Center, we are committed to making your journey to a perfect smile as smooth and enjoyable as possible. With Invisalign, achieving the smile you've always dreamed of doesn't have to be a daunting process. Let us guide you through each step, transforming your smile with the care and expertise you deserve.

FAQ

Embarking on your Invisalign journey can raise many questions. At Montblanc Dental Center, we're here to provide clarity and confidence as you take the first steps towards your new smile. Below, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about Invisalign treatment.

Does tooth whitening damage tooth enamel?

If the whitening treatment is used under the supervision of a dentist, it is very unlikely to damage your tooth enamel. Always consult your dentist to ensure that you are using whitening products safely.

Why dental bleaching?

Teeth whitening is a treatment that involves applying a peroxide-based gel to the teeth. Thanks to this treatment, it is possible to lighten the colour of your teeth and remove stains to improve the aesthetics of your smile. There are several reasons for having your teeth whitened. There are psychological, social and cultural reasons.

What causes tooth discolouration?

Extrinsic Colouring

Extrinsic stains are those that appear on the surface of the teeth as a result of consuming coloured food or drink. The tar and nicotine in cigarettes also leave yellow or brownish stains on the teeth.

Intrinsic staining

Intrinsic stains are those that form on the inside of the teeth. Intrinsic stains can be caused by:

  • Trauma: unforeseen accidents, such as falls, car accidents or sports injuries, can cause trauma that can lead to stained teeth.
  • The effect of ageing: tooth enamel wears away, revealing the underlying yellowish dentine. This gives the teeth a darker appearance.
  • The effects of medication: certain drugs, particularly antihistamines and blood pressure medication, can cause stains to appear on the teeth. Similarly, childhood exposure to antibiotics such as tetracycline or doxycycline can leave lasting marks.
  • Genetic origin: generally, they are resistant to tooth whitening, and to obtain a good result, we suggest other alternatives such as facets.

The different tooth whitening techniques

Office bleaching with hydrogen peroxide

We start by isolating the gums with a photo dam. The cheeks and lips are also protected, to isolate all the soft tissues from the action of the whitening gel. Next, a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide-based gel is applied to the teeth. The gel is then photo-activated using a special lamp to further enhance the product's action. The treatment lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The procedure is repeated up to 3 times if the patient feels no discomfort, with further sessions spaced at least a week apart for best results.
The products are highly concentrated; in these cases, hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 35% is used. This is the fastest technique.

Ambulatory whitening done at home using a less concentrated product (carbamide peroxide)

Your dentist will suggest a treatment to be carried out in the comfort of your own home. She will provide you with a personalised whitening tray to restore the whiteness of your smile. For this type of whitening, she will take impressions of your teeth and custom-made trays will be made. These trays will hold a peroxide-based gel that you will place on your teeth. Depending on the dentist's instructions, the trays will be worn for between 6 and 10 days. There are gels for daytime treatment and gels for night-time treatment. Full details will be given to you when you receive your individual trays.

Mixed bleaching combining the two techniques

We start with chair-side bleaching and then move on to outpatient bleaching. This technique gives better results with fewer side effects.

A word of warning:

First, the dentist will carry out a complete examination of your teeth. If the patient has sensitivities, cavities, cracks, etc., the dentist will propose a treatment plan appropriate to each case before starting the whitening.
We'll give you a radiant smile with professional results!

Teeth whitening - FAQ

Answers to the most frequently asked questions.

No, teeth whitening only works on natural teeth. If the crowns or facets are part of your treatment plan, teeth whitening should take place before dental restorations.

If the whitening treatment is used under the supervision of a dentist, it is very unlikely to damage your tooth enamel. Always consult your dentist to ensure that you are using whitening products safely.

One of the potential short-term side-effects of tooth whitening is a slight temporary increase in tooth sensitivity. For most patients, the sensitivity subsides within a few days. But thanks to the customised trays made by Dr Hilmani Mounia-Zahra, the pain will be less noticeable.

Teeth whitening is a temporary solution you can use to whiten your smile. If your teeth are constantly exposed to stain-causing foods and drinks, you'll probably start to see the whiteness fade after a few months.

We find that yellow and brown stains often respond better to teeth whitening treatments. Violet, grey and blue stains do not respond at all to whitening. For these types of stains, your dentist will recommend cosmetic treatments such as crowns or facets dental.
